Ever since I was a child, jewelry has made me feel a special fondness and instant attraction when I saw what I liked. Even then I knew that a piece of jewelry is not just an accessory, a part of your look—there’s also a certain vibe and meaning to it.
For the past few years, I have been visiting the foremost jewelry show Baselworld in Switzerland, being one of the first to learn about innovations in the jewelry world and making acquaintances with major figures of international jewelry brands. So my personal interest was supported by professional knowledge and a desire to dive deeper into the world of sparkling splendor.
Hence, taking The Jewelry Business Explained course at the legendary Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, London, was a logical continuation of my self-development, which allowed me to expand my knowledge of precious metals and various stones, and get a better understanding of the industry’s marketing and business components.
My life motto, “Less is more”, had an influence on the appearance of jewelry of my namesake brand Anna Andres Jewelry. The simplicity and elegance of the lines were inspired by objects of art, contemporary parametric architecture, and even tracks of airplanes flying across the sky. The result is minimalist jewelry created in collaboration with the best technologists so that each piece becomes an integral part of your body and its natural continuation.
